Hi Jacquie, It has been so many years since I have seen you! Looking through those pictures of you and TJ growing up flooded me with so many memories of you! I can still see you as my little side kick coaching all those preschoolers, with your positive and nurturing spirit! I know that it is that positive spirit and determination that will give you the strength to fight this, one day at a time!! We are praying that God will continue to give you strength, encouragement and faith during your transplant and recovery. Love, Mark, Missy (Trosterud)Emma, Kate and Amelia

Keep on the good fight Jacquie, we’re rooting for you. Love, Sue

Jacquie, It is with utmost certainty that I, especially now after reading all your messages, seeing the website, having briefly met your Dad at the gym over the holidays when my daughter was a visiting gymnast from CA and feeling the positive vibes there, BELIEVE. Transplant, schmanshplant…you kick this cancer’s butt. It is quite apparent that you have the perfect combination of your own internal strength, the abiding love and support of family and friends, an exemplary team of experts, and an unwavering faith – you so have what it takes to overcome this horrible disease and so you will. Although there have and will continue to be numerous obstacles, as you already know, when you may have a moment of weakness, be assured that the strength of all those around you, who so profoundly love you, will carry you through. And just because it’s a silly superstitious practice from my childhood, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, nonetheless…I’ll pray too, so no worries…all bases will be covered! 🙂

Jacquie, Hi, you do not know me but my 5 year old and now two year old go to your families facility for gymnastics and have done so respectively since 18 months. I have spent the last four years seeing you off an on. Your strong will and determination, not to mention the love and strength that you will garner from your family and friends will see you through. As you get closer to your goal of total recovery please know that my family Jillian-5, Kendall-2 and Sean (spouse) will have you in our prayers and keep you on the alter. We need you to help look after the children and be that bright light that often illuminates the room. Keep your head high, there will be days that you feel bad, but if anyone can overcome you can. God Bless you and your family…. Kirsten Newby

My darling daughter Jacquie, Where to begin? When you were first diagnosed I was so angry and afraid. At a time when you needed me the most, there was nothing I could do to change what was to come. The mother in me refused to accept that, but the fact was,no matter how much I prayed, and bargained for this to be happening to me instead of you, it didn’t help. You were going to have to go through hell to get past this. And although I couldn’t do it for you,I promised you I would do it with you-every step of the way. And each step you’ve taken has shown me what a truly incredible woman you are. Your strength amazes me, and your courage humbles me. You give me strength when mine falters and you show me how to keep moving forward no matter how hard the struggle. Your brother has done a wonderful thing for you by setting up this website,he did a terrific job, and now others will be able to let you know how much they care for you ,admire you and are inspired by you. Your dad, TJ and I will be beside you all the way, and when this is over- oh how we will celebrate with all our family and friends who have helped and supported us through this very, very difficult time in our lives. Jacquie,my very own Tinkerbell, I BELIEVE in you, and I love you so very much. Love forever and always-mom
