Associate Professor of Oncology and active Leukemia Service at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and a faculty member at the SUNY-UB School of Medicine.
Published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in research journals (the majority of which are in the area of leukemia research) and authored multiple book chapters and presentations at national meetings.
Recognized as one of the “Buffalo Business First Health Care 50″, one of the top “50 movers, innovators, strategists, pioneers, and outstanding caregivers in the health care field.” Dr. Wang was Jacquie’s primary oncologist while undergoing treatment.

Leukemia and breast cancer survivor. Employed by the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, now facilitator of funds between research, physicians, donors, and families. Responsible for quarterly reporting and updates/advances of The Jacquie Hirsch Leukemia Research Project.
