About the Bricks/Stones

Approximately 1,000 square feet of engraved bricks and granite stone blocks comprise our Walk of Hope.  Any individual, multiple individuals, family, corporation or organization may be inscribed on either of the 2 sizes available:

  • 6″ x 9″ red brick at $125.00 – Up to 3 lines of copy, 17 spaces eachIMG_1735
  • 12″ x 12″ diamond granite centerpiece at $500.00 – Up to 3 lines of copy, 19 spaces each

All donations for bricks and stones are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law and gift receipts will be provided by The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L. Foundation.  All inscriptions will be centered on the brick or stone in capital letters (except for names that include a small ‘c’ such as McCoy).  A maximum of 17  or 19 characters per line, depending on which block you purchase, including spaces and punctuation as separate characters is allowed.  Symbols that appear on a keyboard, Greek letters, and a heart icon may be used.

Inscriptions shall not included commercial messages or discriminatory/inappropriate messages that refer to an individual’s or group’s sex, race, color, religious creed, national origin, age,sexual orientation, or physical disability shall not be permitted.

The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L. Foundation Board of Directors reserves the right to deny brick or stone purchase application that is deemed inappropriate.

FAQ

Q:  What is the Walk of Hope?

A:  The Walk of Hope is several hundred square feet of permanent, visible, tribute outside of the Center For The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L. Foundation featuring memorial brick pavers and granite stones inscribed with names of friends, family, supporters, and other contributors.

Q:  Where is the Walk of Hope located?

A:  The Walk of Hope is located at 1641 North French Rd. in Getzville, NY, directly outside the Center for The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L. Foundation.  It face the north side of the building and connects the entrance to one of the main parking areas.

Q:  Who can have their name on a brick/stone?

A:  Any individual, family, corporation, or organization can have their message engraved on one of the bricks/stones.

Q:  To what cause does my brick/stone contribution go?

A:  The funds raised from the bricks and stones go directly to The Jacquie HIrsch For A.L.L. Foundation and from there are used towards increasing community awareness, funding research, hosting events, and providing patient and family support.

Q:  What sizes are the bricks/stones?

A:  There are two sizes of bricks/stones, which each have different engraving space:

  • 6″ x 9″ red brick pavers, up to three lines of copy, 17 spaces each
  • 12″ x 12″ diamond granite centerpiece, up to three lines of copy, 19 spaces each
Q:  How much does it cost to be a part of the Walk of Hope?

A:  There are two sizes and costs

  • $125.00 for the 6″ x 9″ red brick paver
  • $500.00 for the 12″ x 12″ diamond granite centerpiece
Q:  How much is tax deductible?

A:  The donation amount for each brick/stone is fully tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a gift receipt mailed from the Foundation.  The donation amount for each stone is less the cost of the stone itself and the installation/engraving.

Q:  Who can be a part of the Walk of Hope?  What can be inscribed on the bricks/stones?

A:  Anyone can purchase a brick or stone and have their message engraved.
