The Ride for Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute and its core mission to understand, prevent, and cure cancer. The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June! It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters. The Ride for Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider; participants can choose to ride from a variety of mileage routes.
Team Jacquie For A.L.L. was started in 2008 with 30 riders raising $13,000. In 2009, our first ride in Jacquie’s memory, the team had 81 riders and raised an incredible $26,500! It was at the 2009 Ride where all funds raised by Jacquie’s team began to be directly donated to The Jacquie Hirsch Leukemia Research Fund, as they still are to this day. In 2010, our 95 riders won the award for Overall Best Ride T-Shirt, in addition to again raising more than $25,000.
