Hello Hirsch Family-It is Katie Olmsted (aka Lubie) Marianne’s friend. I think of your family often.Mrs. Hirsch- I wanted you to know that I now teach high school outside of DC and we had our first Relay for Life meeting last week. I began the meeting explaining that my reason to Relay is Jacquie! I shared the beautiful website and foundation that was created for Jacquie. I told them how she wanted to be a teacher too. I certainly won’t forget Jacquie and now 30+ more individuals have come to know her and we will Relay in June in her honor.
Good Morning, Just turned on 106.5 to listen to while at work today and “It’s a great day to be alive”~Travis Tritt came on…that song will forever remind me of Jax!! Love you! xo Ashley
sharon – i just read your latest post, and although i know that it takes much more than words for you to believe that NO ONE will forget jac and what we are all fighting for — at least for me.. this explains it all…. “when we die, we will turn into songs, and we will hear each other and remember each other” there’s NO way us SDTs could ever forget jacquie when we hear “These Are Days”, there’s no way that anyone who has ever been on the website; known jacquie for a minute; known ABOUT her could forget her when we hear “Then You Stand.” She is all around us in everything, and i KNOW you’re afraid and aggrivated, but she’s always around.. making sure everything gets done, making sure everything goes to plan… I love you, Hirsch family, and so do SO many others, and NO ONE will ever forget.
I saw this quotation this week in the school Friday bulletin…”Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal” ~anonymousThinking of you Jacquie, missing and always remembering you. Sending strength to you Sharon, Torey and TJ, always! Sara
What amazing accomplishments – and never ending. Jax, your strength and influence from heaven is truly inspiring. I pray for you Hirsch’s and miss you terribly. Cheering and watching for our olympian!!
hirschs – we got a new one in our little family — she’s the tall, beautiful, folly flower child on the left (if you couldn’t tell!) kelly is her big, and we are all so proud of her. i KNOW jac was with us when we were picking her up and telling her all of our folly traditions. love and thinking about you all the time, lil sammie.
Hello Hirsch’s and extended Jacquie family, I am off to Africa in the morning… I’m going to be climbing Kilimanjaro again with Journeys of Inspiration. I hate that this year I have to climb in memory of Jacquie instead of in her honor. Last time I went she was so supportive and excited for me. She wanted to know everything about it even though she already had a lot on her mind. She was such a great friend. I will be climbing for Jacquie to help continue her fight for her and I will be carrying her picture with me to the top. So far our group has raised over $40,000.00 for the American Cancer Society and the money keeps coming in… If anyone would like to donate here is a link to make an electronic donation: (No pressure) http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/DetermiNation/DNFY10Eastern?px=13354167&pg=personal&fr_id=25746If anyone would like to follow our climb – we’ll be posting daily updates. You can find the link at http://www.journeysofinspiration.com!Hirsch’s I think of you everyday and I know that Jax will be helping me up the hill. I love you all and will see you in March <3Love always, Sadie

Hello Hirsch’sJust wanted to let you know that they are having a bone marrow drive at my graduate school in Syracuse, SUNY Upstate Medical School on Wed. Feb 17th. They have asked me to give a speech about my experience and I am so excited to have the opportunity to share the wonderful rewarding experience of donating and give other people the opportunity to join the registry. Already, many of my classmates have approached me and said that they would love to join the registry and that they have just not had the opportunity to sign up at a drive until now, which makes me very happy. Also, it is perfect timing since the drive will be held on the 17th, and on the 19th of Feb it will one year since I donated bone marrow, so I should be recieving another update about the patient I donated to- Just another example of jacquie spreading her tink dust! Who knows how many countless people will be helped or have already been helped by all the new donors on the registry list inspired by Jacquie! Thinking of you all and I am so honored to speak to my new school all about donating bone marrow and you should be very proud of everything that the foundation has accomplished. <3 Mae
I was going through pictures the other day, and there was that beautiful smile, even though i had only spent a little time with Jacquie, she was truly someone special. I know how much you all miss her and i am soo proud of your strength, keeping this foundation going in her Honor. Kim is always keeping me updated, and i really enjoy reading how Jackie has touched so many people. She is such and inspiration! She will never be forgotten..My prayers are with you all. Karen in North Carolina
Dear Hirsch Family, I am one of the Roswell nurses who had the honor of caring for your lovely daughter…I recently moved to Southern CA and am working on a Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant unit. I still think of Jacquie often and her will to live especially as I watch these young patients fighting for there chance to live. I am curious to know if you have ever thought of expanding the Jacquie Hirsch For ALL Foundation to the other side of the United States. I work with a phenomenal transplant team who happened to not only be happily married but whom themselves have first hand knowledge for she herself is fighting the battle and winning. I will leave my email address if you ever do consider the idea, in the mean time know that your family is in my prayers and that your daughters fight will live on until we find the cure.erin.louden@yahoo.com

Hey Jax, Been thinking alot about you lately so i figured Id stop by and say hello. I went to Disney World for New Years, it SUCKED! So crowded, so many kids it was a nightmare. Who gives 1 million children NYE blowers at 6 pm?!?! But the fireworks were mind blowing…and I thought of you the whole time, especially when tink flew overhead. Im starting running again…hopefully you carry me through NYC races like you did in Tennessee! Med schools going well, almost 1 year until I’m a doctor, can you believe it? I love ya Jax, I will always believe, always. Miss you.
sending love to the Hirsch’s… you are an amazing family. we all BELIEVE Jacquie and this wonderful foundation will continue to fight for and find a cure.
Hi!! The meet last weekend was WONDERFUL!! Domenica smiled the whole time we were at dinner afterwards…it amazes me how a 9 year old wasn’t just excited for her first level 4 meet but that she was excited to be at the JACQUIE MEMORIAL Meet again!! She is 9 years old and she knows how special it is…Everytime I walk into the gym I smile because I was lucky enough to be one of Jacquie’s closest friends and I knew first hand how wonderful she is!! The gym does Jacquie proud everyday not just at the meets but everytime a little girl or boy is playing around enjoying life!! So don’t question if Jacquie is proud of the way you are celebrating her life and honoring who she was…I know she is!! See you Sunday!! xoxo Ashley
TJ – Congratulations on your new website! It’s amazing, and another example of what your love for your sister can inspire. Congrats to Matt also. I heard the good news on TV this evening and am thrilled for your entire family. How exciting for all of you. Sharon, please continue to share your thoughts of Jacquie with everyone who has had the pleasure and great joy of knowing your beautiful daughter. Her spirit lives on in you, Tory and TJ, and what an incredible spirit it is. You continue to amaze everyone with your strength and courage. Please say a prayer for a dear friend – Olivia, who like Jacquie, is much too young to be fighting for her life against an insidious disease. God bless all 4 Hirsch’s.
Sharon, Torey and T.J., You have done an amazing job in carrying on Jacquie’s wish to help others suffering with cancer. To raise $70,000 for research is an incredible accomplishment and I don’t doubt you will continue to accomplish great things, inspired by your beautiful daughter and sister. Just want you to know how often we still think of Jacquie and all of you. Your Hope Lodge friends, Cathy and Owen

THINKING OF ALL OF YOU—ALWAYS!!!!!! TJ, The website is beautiful! You have outdone yourself once again! I am quite certain that Jacquie is smiling down on you with amazement as to how you have done it all without “your secretary”. Ha! And yet you have not only done it for her, but you have done it with her…every step of the way. Love, Jen
Hi Hirsch Family,My mom told me that she saw all of you at the check ceremony at Roswell. I can’t even tell you how proud I am of all of you. It is such a huge accomplishment to raise that amount of money and to donate it to such a worthy cause. I can only imagine what good things are to come. I miss you all. Love,Liz
Excellent job on the new website, it looks great! Just saw the pics of the 20k check presentation to Roswell, that is awesome! Thinking about you guys, can’t wait until springtime for carshows to benefit A.L.L. 🙂

i love you so much, my beautiful big. so proud to have known you, so happy to have had you to guide me through the best part of college, so honored to tell anyone and everyone your story, missing you so much every day. tj, the website looks AMAZING and i’m so excited that you’ve really done it up like this!!! 500 days is really hard to grasp, but sharon, this last post had so much hope and positivity in it that it makes it so much easier to not cry over how sad we are but to SMILE and LAUGH and REMEMBER and BELIEVE in all of the wonderful things jac did for all of us. i love you all so much and think about you every day<3 -sammie
The new website is beautiful. Congratulations on your hard work, TJ, and congratulations to you all for another incredible donation. You are always in our hearts. We will never forget to Believe.

I was glad I was able to be with you guys tonight. I’m very proud of you. The new website is beautiful; I know how hard you worked on it TJ. Love, Laur
Dear Sharon, I hope and pray, with all my heart, that you will see what a gift from God you are to your family and to all of your friends. You have the ability to touch peoples hearts, way down, deep inside of them, where the hurt lives. You touch their heart, with a kindness that is so pure, so real. I know this because you have done this for me. I will be forever grateful. Jacquie was a beautiful gift in every way, shape and form. She continues to be and will never be forgotten. As I pray for my little angels each day, I picture Jacquie surrounded by a dozen of heavens littlest angels …all smiling while she is reading to them. Please know I am always here for you. I think of you and your strength A LOT, And that gives me strength. Its so hard sometimes. Know you are always in my prayers . Clapping Praying Believing Missy
Hi Hirsch Family…. Words can’t express how good it was to see you all over the break. It was a long awaited visit for me… just being inside your home comforts me as I see Jacquie in everything you do and everything you are ~ we are all so lucky to have Jacquie to inspire us to do unimagniable things every day. Likewise, she is so lucky to have 3 of the most dedicated, kind-hearted, give-back, selfless, strong, family members that clearly love Jacquie beyond words and beyond life. Thank you for accepting my donation, wishing me luck for the marathon on the website, and the ’thank you’ in the newsletter. I am so blessed to be a part of such an incredible foundation. Always loving & missing you all… Nikki
Sharon, no one is ever going to forget about jacquie and everything you do for her is going to be successful and is going to mean the world to her. You do an amazing job and should never doubt yourself or anything that you do. everyday people ask me about my jacquie bracelet, i love getting to talk about her. Last weekend I was dropping off food at a table when someone asked me if i was wearing a jacquie bracelet, I was so excited! The man’s daughter was a patient with Jacquie! and then next day my grandma and I went to roswell and dontated blood (and this time i didnt have to breath into a paper bag!) Just wanted to let you know that I am always thinking of you guys and that you mean the world to me. Love you, <3Whitney
