I have been keeping abreast of your wonderful progress and am so very proud of you. You have certainly set an outstanding example of strength and courage for all of us to embrace. You and your family are in my prayers. I am looking forward to the day when you and I can “do lunch” and laugh! Love, Roz Jureller

Jax, Concert season is getting here and I’m sure among your many plans when you get home very soon is to get to a few this summer. John is lining up some good tickets for the summer and mentioned the other day how good it would be to have you going to a few. Personally, I wouldn’t accompany him anywhere but you might think different. I had an offer for you for June 4 but I know you don’t even know who Dianna Ross is (hint, former lead singer for the Supremes, another hint late 60’s early 70’s, ask your mother.) Dianna will be at the Casino in Niagara Falls and I think probably the crowd will be made of of old people like your father. Seriously, I can’t tell you how much I look forward to seeing you and seeing you get on with your life. You are an amazing young woman with an amazing future. Stay strong. I think about you and your family every day. Jim Rusin

Good Morning Jacquie, Thinking of you all. Always wishing for you …better moments, brighter days ahead and smiles in all of your hearts. Take care of you. Love, SaraPS: sending strength and courage and energy to you all, as always, from NM!!!I think Michael is busy training for the upcoming Olympics. Not sure which event- knowing him, probably all. He thinks he can do well in the pole vaulting and he IS a pretty fast runner (in his dreams) so he might have made it for one of the other track events.

WOW – you brought me to tears just “seeing” how you’ve grown and the changes (in a good way) we’ve all seen in you, and of course the impact this fight has had on your life. I know you hear it over and over again, but it is truly true that you are truly a true inspiration to all of us…isn’t that the truth?!? (0: Well, enough about all these truths be told..I’m so happy you had a great time with B, Billy & lyles. We all miss you and can’t wait for more good times to come. Hello lovely 🙂 You write so beautifully – just like your Momma. Truthfully you may think of cancer everyday from now on… but the way you think about it will change. It will no longer be this scary force but something you beat. Something that you aren’t afraid of. It will be something that certainly changed your life and changed your perspective and you will see it in a totally different light. You are going to be happy forever – you know secrets that people who never deal with cr*p don’t know – you know how to appreciate everything and that is going to make your life AWESOME. Cancer will stop consuming your life but it will always be a part of it. BUT in a much better way 🙂 I love you and am thinking of you every second. You are almost to that amazing 100 mark and everyone is so proud of and impressed by you!! WE BELIEVExoxoxoxo<3 Sadie

Hi Jacquie! I was so happy to see YOUR update. Your mom does such an amazing job keeping everyone updated, but it’s so great to hear from YOU!!! Your continuous strength literally brings me to tears. I don’t understand how someone could not come out being a better person through knowing you. You are truly an inspiration. Day 87! I can’t believe it. I think you may have to celebrate 100 days like they do in elementary school… bring 100 of something in, have 100 day posters, etc. Just think-when you have your classroom you can celebrate 100 days and it will mean so much incredibly more. I continue to think about you daily. Keep believing girl… You’re cruising down the 90 now for the homestretch of your journey home!!!

Jacquie, I found reading your entry to be very comforting. You are honest, realistic, optimistic and a beautiful person to boot! Words like “new normal” show me you have arrived at the next place in this journey. This is where “coping skills” take on a whole new meaning!! Brandy at Roswell said something that I truly find very helpful. She said you can allow your cancer journey to be a chapter in your book or you can allow it to be your title. Your life will continue to many wonderful things. I will pray each day for you that cancer was just a chapter in your life and you have moved on!! Hugs to you and Mom! Sharon, it was soooo good to talk to you. Know that I pray for all of you daily.

Sara, if I am sleeping on stacks of his tee shirts every night, how can you be his #1 fan???? Also, Michael, I truly believe the Cirque producers already scouted you out and tried their best to persuade you to join the show, however, due to your obligations of promoting your new book and I <3 Michael shirts, you were just too busy. and so it goes p.p.p.s.s. (can you really have that many??) Jacquie & Sharon, I truly hope you find this as amusing as I do. haha

Hello beautiful lady!!!!!! Happy Day 88!!! Wowowowow you are getting SO close, can you believe it??? All I have to say is, at this moment, don’t miss Buffalo too much because it is supposed to SNOW, yes SNOW on May 19th!!! Crazy huh? Mother Nature is all out of wack right now, but I have been checking the weather incessantly and it appears, that by the time you are able to come home, Mother Nature will have cleaned up her act and will be shining down all across Western New York, just for you!!! I miss you so much. I feel so guilty I haven’t posted in a few days. You know finals, yadda yadda. I am finally home with my Mama so I’ve been spending some quality time with her. Being back with her makes me realize how much I missed her & love her (even though I am barely more than an hour away)! So I am so glad that you & Sharon appreciate how special a bond you guys share. Mamas are the best, aren’t they??Anyway, keep staying strong, this life (this one that seems to be filled with thoughts and worries of cancer) will NOT always be the life you lead, one day you will wake up and realize “wow cancer stopped consuming my life”; you won’t know when exactly it stopped consuming it, but that will be exact proof that it is. And I cannot wait for you to tell us all when that day is. However, until that day comes, we all know and BELIEVE that you can do this.I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!WE BELIEVE<3 delisha <3 p.s. do you ever think of that Journey song "Don’t Stop Believing"? Because whenever I write "We BELIEVE" it pops into my head and won’t go away. Maybe its stuck in your head now too ; )p.p.s. I wanted to do the colors of the rainbow backwards, and first of all, I was having a hard time remembering them backwards (its hard to do!), and second, I just had a thought: what the heck is the difference between blue and indigo? Isn’t indigo a shade of blue? How do they both get their shot at fame in the mnemonic saying to remember the order of colors in the rainbow? hmmm

Which is slightly funny since I spent one night at Mia’s running around telling everyone I was Jill Zarin and I was part of Team Jill. At least it wasnt Ramona because she is crazy and probably would have walked out in the middle of you talking to her. Also, I finally wanted to tell you I am going to UB for Law School so when you get back home I will be super close to you! Im glad to read things are going well and you are so close to reaching your 100 day mark. Hope things continue to go well in the upcoming 13 days. Miss you! <3 cindy 🙂

Hey girl, Im so jealous of your encounter with the desperate housewives of NYC. I LOVE that show… and the countess, was she as rude as she was to that driver when she was like “don’t introduce me by my first name uuugh” well either way, SO COOL..and you met a count and countess, who can say that. So, guess what? In T-13 days it will be my first day of freedom, aka I will have completed year 1 of medical school. And conveniently that falls on….DAY 100. How weird is that? I think that def calls for a celebration!!! No-pro-biotic virgin margaritas anyone??? But really, how coincidental we gt to share the date of 2 monumental things, yurs is a little cooler then mine but whatever. Hi Jacquie, So last night we took the kids and my dad (he is out for a visit) to a Cirque show “Saltimbanco”. Very very good, but as I sat and watched these incredibly strong men all that went through my mind was that if Michael were at the show, he would now be claiming to you and Alicia that he has been scouted out by Cirque producers to join the Vegas cast based on his incredible strength and physique. Hope you and your mom are having a good weekend. It is actually raining here which is something it rarely ever does. The kids even got to wear a raincoat to school for the first time since we moved here (they really did not need it, but it made them happy to wear them anyway). Thinking of you and sending strength and courage from NM!! Love, Sara
