Hi Jacquie and Sharon- Have a good day! Wishing you a restful night with renewed energy for tomorrow and hoping it can be a fun weekend ahead. You are almost to 80!!Thinking of you- Sara
hi there, well, a great update, gaining weight and over 3/4 there!!!yippee!! i am off to dayton ohio for the L9 eastern championships…flying to dc then on to dayton in what i fear is a rather small plane. get your mom to tell you the rhode island small plane story. not even sure you were born yet. anyway, if you can go through what you go through everyday, i can surely survive a small plane ride…tell your mom i will be thinking of her and also jim burton as they got me on that other plane. wish they were here to get me on this plane. i promise i will smile at EVERYONE, while i am panicked inside!!! i love you and i send you both big hugs. love, aunt val
hey guys! im not sure if its good OR bad that uncle david was entertaining you both in the waiting room… i figured you’d say he find scruns and tried to treat jax himself! i just wanted to check in and say hi, let you both know i am thinking of you today and always! i love you, cousin angela
Hey Jax! I’m glad to hear that things are going well. Your not missing much here. I started coaching baseball again. We were undefeated last season and won the championship game, this season will be quit different. We don’t have a pitcher, no one can hit, the third baseman can’t make the throw to second, the short stop likes to write his name in the dirt and not pay attention, the out field doesn’t know their right from their left, NO ONE can hit, the catcher can’t catch to save his life, 2 kids peed their pants, 1 kid always is getting hurt (I think she just likes the ice packs and has quit a collection of them now), the second baseman is afraid of the ball, most of practice is spent with kids asking what time it is, did I mention NO ONE CAN HIT? Basically we make the Bad News Bears look like an All-Star team! I can’t wait for our first game! SO ANYWAY, your not missing much here! BUT, we do miss you and your mom like CRAZY and are all counting down the days until both of you come home. It’s not the same here without you guys! Until then keep up the good work and always know you both are in our constant thoughts and prayers. We love you both and we will always keep believing! PS- Olivia sends kisses!
Good Morning Jacquie and Sharon- SDT’s are clever young ladies! Here is why!!! Jacquie- Caroline’s gay robot was great … but you should have seen what they did to Brooks …. it was perfect… a diet coke… the girls made her, her favorite thing in the world…diet coke!!! You will have to see the pics when you feel up to it! I so hope that you had a good nights sleep last night… Again, Please know that I think of you and your family everyday and say many prayers for you too… Take care… Lynn and family we believe!!
Hey Jax! Did you ever think there would be a day when you wanted to gain weight? Keep gaining that weight! Sharon- don’t stop being that nosey, question-asking self. You have to be comfortable with the treatments and those treating, too! It’s part of why Jacquie is getting such good care! You guys are in the home stretch now! I’m really looking forward to hearing about how great it is for you to be back! :)Big Hugs to you both (much more gentle for Jax)- We keep on believing.
Jacquie!!!!! Hello my dearest of dear friends!! So I have a few things I wanted to point out:1. did you notice how I posted directly after Michael? Coincidence? I think not… I think we are actually kindred spirits. (And Michael, your reference to the missing meatloaf got me again, haha I was once again chuckling rather boisterously to myself, thinking of Jac sneaking tons of meatloaf).2. the word “intrathecal chemotherapy” was too much for my brain to remember how to spell yesterday so I copied & pasted it into my post from when Sharon wrote it in her update. Needless to say, that made my font like 3x bigger than everyone else’s on the page, so that means my post is the coolest ; ) haha it actually looks pretty funny because the font goes from teeny tiny to huuuuuge. (Do I sound like the Fuccillo guy? huuuuuge!)3. you are the strongest person EVER. You endured, what sounds like a pretty terrible procedure, in a new environment, with new doctors, without your Mom right there, and you came out like a CHAMP!!! You are pretty much, hands down, the coolest person in the world. Keep on fighting Tink, Day 76 is almost over, Day 77 is almost upon us, and before you know it, Day 80… 90… then 100!! You are an all-star and you are SUPER WOMAN! Actually both you & Sharon are Super Woman! (Yes there can be two, because I say so!) I love you so much, and I miss you so darn much. Keep fighting, stay positive, and keep on eating!!! Before you know it you will be eating wings at Duff’s, hot dogs at Ted’s, pizza from La Nova, and roast beef at Anderson’s. WE BELIEVE<3 delisha <3 P.S. Word on the street is that there is a new Hibachi place on Sheridan named "Kyoto" which is apparently suuuuuper duper good. So, we are going on a date there when you come home!!!!! I can’t wait : )
Hi Jacquie and Sharon! High fives and lots of pats on the back! For both of you!!! Great job on the report and starting to put some weight back on! Praying so hard every day for you both. The clapping is taking longer each day to complete! It definatly sounds like applaues now! And you deserve every last clap!!! Clapping Praying BELIEVING Missy
Again I say, you ladies are amazing. Jax I’m so happy you gained some weight back!! Walking on that high terrace we do not want you to blow away!! Love you so so much and thinking of you constantly!!! You are strong!!WE ALWAYS BELIEVE!!!!
Dear Jax and Sharon, As always you both are in our family’s thoughts and talks everyday. We hope yesterdays meeting went well. I look forward to seeing you, (even for 15mins) again in the city. I’ll wait for you to tell me when is good and I’ll be there ! Patience and strength. One day at a time, one day closer to going home, one day closer to being completely healed!! With love, Aunt Indie
Hi Jacquie and Sharon, You two are amazing! I marvel at your strength and wish all of us here in Buffalo could bear some of the burden for you. As I read each new update I know that you are one day closer to answered prayer. BELIEVE! Hugs to you both, Nancy
Hey bigbig,im in the library working on a group project right now but i thought stalking you would be more fun haha. You’re so close to 100 days! Keep it up and you’ll be back here and initiated into the C.T.F.C. in no time (the cheesy tot fan club). I love and i miss you!
Hi Jax and Sharon! I’ve been thinking about you both all day (especially), and sending you lots and lots of positive thoughts! I hope everything goes amazing at clinic today, and you continue to show them how amazing you both are! Keep your head up, you’re so close to coming home!!! BELIEVING in you always… =)
Hi Jacquie, I looked back at my recent message and I guess I should have looked it over at the time I sent it and utilized spell check, oops! Oh well, hopefully it made enough sense as was. Thinking of you and wishing you a feeling good day. Sending energy and strength to you and your mom from NM to NYC! Love, Sara
Day 76!!!!! Woooooooooo!!! Good luck with the intrathecal chemotherapy today!!! You will do amazing!!!!! Keep on staying strong, you’re getting soooo close!!!!I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!WE BELIEVE<3 delisha <3 p.s. kinda funny story: today I was going to blowdry my hair, and I plugged in my blowdryer, and turned it on & nothing. Then I hit the restart button & heard a noise & suddenly SMOKE SMOKE SMOKE and I look inside my blowdryer & the inside is LITERALLY ON FIRE!!!! I start blowing it out furiously but can barely hold onto it because it is so hot. Ahh what luck
it is sunny and in the 90’s all week…ac is on and i get a chill in the am when it is like 60 outside…what happened to me… mr olympia didnt work…the dancing didnt work…the gymnastics didnt work…allthough i have some great tricks on the rings and pommel horse…i dont like doing it in public, you know showing off is not nice…so im thinking of some other endeavors to pursue… i am applying to mtv for my own tv show like flavor flav or brett michaels…something like who wants to marry a hundredaire, or who can handle this freak that eats like a monkey…that is what amy says about me…i live with a monkey…nice huh?…sometimes i can see it, but most of the time i am quiet and light around the house…much like tinker belle…but my wings would be the size of a jet to carry my butt around…anyway… peace to all the hirsch family and to all that are near to you…this is a fight that you will win…no doubt…and you will laugh at it for years to come, only to cry about the missing meatloaf…but look at it this way…there are always frozen tv dinners…salsbury steak looks good to me… xoxomps
HIRSCH!!! Big day today!! I can’t believe how much time as passed already…3/4 of the way done!! WOOO HOOO!! I went out with some of the fam last night…anyways we were talking about my Aunt K’s wedding…wanna know what she remembered about that day (among many things) all those butterfly clips in our hair!!! haha!! Just thinking of those crazy clips made me laugh so I hope the thought of how HOT we were and how GREAT our style was will make you laugh too!! Like always keep up the AMAZING fight…you’re almost home…and again before you know it you will beJACQUIE HIRSCH CANCER BEATER!! (I know how much the girls love that lol)! xoxoxo Ashhhhh Huer
Day 75 has come and gone. You’re in the home stretch now Jax!!! I hope you’re feeling better. You continue to be in my (and many others’) thoughts and prayers. I can’t wait to see you when you finally return to us. Take care and keep fighting! ~Krystal

hi there, well, a great update, gaining weight and over 3/4 there!!!yippee!! i am off to dayton ohio for the L9 eastern championships…flying to dc then on to dayton in what i fear is a rather small plane. get your mom to tell you the rhode island small plane story. not even sure you were born yet. anyway, if you can go through what you go through everyday, i can surely survive a small plane ride…tell your mom i will be thinking of her and also jim burton as they got me on that other plane. wish they were here to get me on this plane. i promise i will smile at EVERYONE, while i am panicked inside!!! i love you and i send you both big hugs. love, aunt val

I can’t wait : )

it is sunny and in the 90’s all week…ac is on and i get a chill in the am when it is like 60 outside…what happened to me… mr olympia didnt work…the dancing didnt work…the gymnastics didnt work…allthough i have some great tricks on the rings and pommel horse…i dont like doing it in public, you know showing off is not nice…so im thinking of some other endeavors to pursue… i am applying to mtv for my own tv show like flavor flav or brett michaels…something like who wants to marry a hundredaire, or who can handle this freak that eats like a monkey…that is what amy says about me…i live with a monkey…nice huh?…sometimes i can see it, but most of the time i am quiet and light around the house…much like tinker belle…but my wings would be the size of a jet to carry my butt around…anyway… peace to all the hirsch family and to all that are near to you…this is a fight that you will win…no doubt…and you will laugh at it for years to come, only to cry about the missing meatloaf…but look at it this way…there are always frozen tv dinners…salsbury steak looks good to me… xoxomps
