Hi Jacquie, Whew!!!! &5 Days in NYC, that is a lot a lot of days of hard, hard work behind you. Great job all along the way by you and all your family. Among the many things I wish for you and your family and really just wish for you to feel better physically and emotionally…feel better with every minute. Last night as Elise took her bath and sang her songs that she makes up verses too as she goes along, she was washing her bracelet and started to sing “Jacquie for ALL, we believe, believe, believe” and then went into “we will we will rock you” from Queen. Take care of you and always thinking of you and your mom. Love, Sara
Hello my love, Happy Day 75 again!!! I know I already posted today but I had to again. Okay so a few things. 1st: Mancala is like the COOLEST game ever!!! I got that a long time ago and seriously it was probably my most favorite “board game” around, do you have the version which tells you all the different ways you can play it? Even if you don’t, it sounds like its for the best because it sounds like Sharon is having a hard time learning the basic one ; )Second. I think Sharon must be becoming one of the wisest people, ever, period. Reading the end of her posts are always so inspiring and are always dead on. Yes terrible unexpected things happen, but no one can take away the love that we share with our families and friends, and no one can take away the beautiful memories people share. So hold on tight to those memories for a little longer, and before it, you & Sharon will be making new ones with your family & friends to chuckle about for years to come.I love you so much. You are simply amazing. Keep it up super woman ;)WE BELIEVE<3 delisha <3

Hi Jacquie. I was thinking the other day of the time you and your friend stopped by Casey Middle School to see your Mom on your way to wherever you were going. Your Mom and I were lifeguarding a family swim. You barely knew me, except through your Mom, but you gave me such a wonderful hug. What a loving, giving person you are; as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. You have made a great impact on people’s lives all along, and never even knew it. Now, you make an even greater impact on many, many people’s lives with your strength and courage. Hang in there, you’re almost home! I believe! Love Donna P.S. Hope the pizza was good.

WE BELIEVE! sara, mike, ub and i are off to virginia to my nephew’s wedding….on the beach [it’s supposed to rain!] ub is bringing the laptop so we check the updates! you and your mom hug each other for me…..you will be home soon and i can’t wait!! love, aunt val
Dear Jacquie, I hope this day is finding you stronger and feeling better. There is no way for me to know how very hard this is for you . But what I do know is that you are doing an amazing job every day moving forward. There isnt anything you cant do, your strong and determined! Faith ,is knowing you will get there even when you cant see where you are going. You WILL get there Jacquie, I Believe in you . You Can do it! Clapping Praying BELIEVING Missy
Hi! I pray that every day is better than the last for you both. But remember what I have said before, sometimes God makes us “take a few steps back” so that we can appreciate how far we have come! You have accomplished soooo much in the past 70 days–it’s incredible!! I know that some days the “bump in the road” seems like a big a** pot hole… so call it like it is! No need to be so polite and say a “bump in the road”. You deserve to have time to be discouraged. But, Jacquie, you don’t realize what you are teaching hundreds of us reading your updates on this sight. Your strength, grace and courage are so inspiring. I have actually found myself saying to people at work, who are getting worked up over nothing, to step back and look at what’s important. Put things into perspective…this is a HUGE lesson for so many of us. We take so many things for granted and it took your fight to make us realize that! (Not only that, but your mother’s inspiring words in the updates have not gone unnoticed…I hear Hallmark is looking for a good writer!!!) Anyway, what I’m trying to say is not to get yourself too far down when something gets in the way of moving forward. Take a deep breath, and “this too shall pass”. It’s all part of the healing process…and any way you still have 30 days to go, may as well make those doctors earn their big bucks!! You can’t be a model patient all the time! Take care of each other… my love is with you both, always. Sheryl
70 days what a awesome number! It is getting closerevery day to you coming home. I have a deal or no deal for you. If you give me some of your new hair, I will give you my appetite. Deal or no deal? Let me know. Love. Uncle Mark
DAY 70!! WOOOOOOOOOO~!!! AND IT IS THE FIRST DAY OF MAY! (albeit a tad chilly first of May, but it is still May)! Why hello there my dear dear friend, I miss you so much! I am glad to hear you are getting those fluids, dehydration can hit you so quickly, and like a sack of bricks, so keep on drinking! (Right now I will say keep on drinking but not too far down the road you will be hearing a continuous chant of “Here’s to sister Jacquie, sister Jacquie, here is to sister Jacquie..”) I vow from now on to try to limit my usage of the term “bump in the road,” I can imagine it gets awfully annoying hearing people constantly saying that, when you’re probably thinking “easy for you to say, are YOU the one that’s sick?” So I will try my hardest to limit it, however, it does seem to fit in a numerous situations. And Michael, I was so happy to get a shout out in your post, I AM your #1 fan… keep those posts coming. I am sure Sharon wouldn’t mind heading down to Arizona (I think that’s right) and taking care of you, you’d probably be a much easier patient than stubborn ol’ Jac over here haha. Anyway, keep fighting kiddo, each day you are getting closer! Each walk on the terrace, trip to clinic, support group meeting etc, is getting you that much closer to your goal. So keep on fighting, and laughing. You can do it, there is NO doubt in my mind.WE BELIEVEI LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND AM CONTINUOUSLY MORE & MORE PROUD OF YOU!!!<3 delisha <3
Hi Jacquie and Sharon too, Often times I know that there just are no words that make this path easier or better, so I Just plain wish you to feel better at each new minute and I hope before you know it you are back home…in time, and sometimes the time passes quickly, so hang on!!! Your entire family is on my mind. Lots of love and strength to you! Sara
i have been away for awhile…it has been busy here and lots going on…dont need to bore you with details…but i will… nah…temps rising out here everyday…so lets get those damn nuetrothings rising too… sharon if you need a break from jacquie and the daily grind, come on out here and take care of me…i could use some quality care…anyone that knows me well knows that i can be a bit of a mess…just a thought… now to my #1 fan alicia…i will continue to use this forum to entertain as many as i can…i am a bit of a loon, and i guess it helps me in times like these…i hope it helps others as well…my sister i right, you shouldnt have mentioned it cause now i know i have an audience…big mistake…but i will do my best to keep them laughing… jacquie…the sun comes up each day…your family is there each day…your friends are there each day…if you look at it, what else do you need?…you have it all… fight kid…cry too…but fight… xoxoxomps
Hi Jacquie, Happy May 1st!!!!! The sun is shinning and I am hopeing this day finds you feeling well, happy and HUNGERY! Keep up the great Job! Soon you will be packing up to come home! Clapping Praying BELIEVING Missy
Sharon/Jax~ Heard this song on the radio and it brought me back to 7th grade driving around town in the Red SUV!! “Operator won’t you put me on through got to talk to my love down in Baton Rouge…hurry now won’tcha put her on the line, gotta talk to my girl just one more time.” Jax-Im glad the operator put us through!! haha (I’m a DORK) I love you!! Hey Jacquie! I was just getting myself updated on your progress and I wanted to let you know that you are doingamazingly! Keep believing beautiful! You are stronger than I ever dreamed of being. Hang in there.”We Believe”Love you!<3 Little Biggy <3
Hi Jaquie and family, I hope you don’t mind…but I’ve been “stalking” the website and keeping up on your progress. I find both you women and the rest of your family totally amazing and inspiring. (I am a friend of Samm’s, but mostly I am Dan Magill’s mom…but don’t resent me for that ha ha.) I just wanted you to know that I teach in a Catholic school and Jax is in our prayer intentions daily. I have also shared Jaquie’s journey with my 6th grade students so that they can keep it real in their own lives and see that their petty “gripes” are just that and how they should treat each other, their family and friends. Your mom’s words of strength at the end of each day are soooo inspiring. So keep up the good work, keep fighting and don’t give up, attitude is soo important. Just wanted to let you know that I (we) believe! Olha Magill
hi beauties, well, the sofa is done, fixed and lovely. now we just need to get you both there to enjoy it…. i miss you being here and i still go by the house to ’talk’ to you every time i go out… the sun is shining today and i know the stars will be out tonight. whenever you see a star remember you are loved and that love is beaming down on you and giving you strength. beleiving is easy, everyone missing you both is the hardest part. stay the course. love, aunt val
Hi there! Continue to keep moving forward, one moment at a time and hold onto all your dreams and goals. You can do this, and you are doing it with such grace-keep doing it….we are all behind you, with you and ahead of you, believing and helping to add to your courage. Love, SaraPS: a hug and a smile to you Sharon!
good afternoon biggle! i’ve been doing work up the wazoo over here and missing you mucho =) i hope everything is going well and the weather is agreeing with your moods but today will be a short one with just a quote from one of my favorite songs of all time. no, silly, not JaRule – Put It On Me…haha “so in the end it’s not just you, with your memories and your scars. fall on me if you ever forget how beautiful you are, and you are..” -Matt Nathanson (Illusions) love you so much i think about you every day =) -lil sammie

Hi Jacquie and Sharon too! Hope you girls had a nice weekend, filled with food, rest and laughter! I was in someones house today and I thought of you when I read this “saying” that was hanging on their wall. It simply read: “PRAYER CHANGES THINGS” That is so true! You have so many people praying for you and believing. You are almost there! Clapping Praying BELIEVING Missy

Hi Jacquie, Hi Sharon, I just needed to write an say hello. I am in Va. for a wedding. This place is very pretty and quaint. It is Chincoteague, Virginia and there is an island with wild ponies and the ocean. I am hoping it is a good weekend for you and that your appetite is on an upswing. I am looking forward to going back to NM tomorrow and seeing Connor and Elise. I guess Connor did a back handspring alone on TT and he was so excited! I wish you feel better days and smiles all along the way and I send you all my strength. Hugs! Sara

Jax and Sharon , sorry its been so long. but i have been out of my mind. programs ending and programs starting. what else the usual disasters that always happen . Any ways isee that the days are coming down and you are doing better. iam so very proud of you. keep up the great job. well i took the puppy to the vet and she is not golden/st. bernard. she is collie /shephard she is a hand full but so much fun. sometimes i rather spent my whole day watcing my dogs play they are really intresting creatures. they are almost like kids. you really have to appriciate themto get the real impact of them.their ways are really meaningful like humans. Speaking of kids Jaime brought the baby to swimming the other night. the baby is beautiful. she is bringing her back today so ican hold her while the others can teach. can’t wait. we are still going to have the shower but we are going to wait for you sharon. we dont care if the baby is going to be one. you are part of this team and we want you there with us. so we all decided to wait. well gotta go to work i ll write soon Jax keep up the great job in fighting and we will keep on praying and believing.love sandy and the banks family /the dogs and everyone else that crosses my path that asks about you and sharon. enjoy your pizzas.

WE BELIEVE! sara, mike, ub and i are off to virginia to my nephew’s wedding….on the beach [it’s supposed to rain!] ub is bringing the laptop so we check the updates! you and your mom hug each other for me…..you will be home soon and i can’t wait!! love, aunt val

Sheryl

Olha Magill
