Hi Jacquie! I’m so glad to hear that you are back at Hope Lodge. I Just wanted to say that I think about you everyday, keep fighting, you’re doing great! Hugs and kisses to you!
Jacquie I only know you through your father and your brother. I am the mother of a level 6 gymnast at GBGC Allie Glick. I have had many family members and friends who’s lives have been touched by cancer and I have followed your story since day one. You are an amazing individual. You are fighting a very difficult battle and you will WIN. You are determined, positive and you have a fabulous support system. I am amazed, but not necessarily surprised, at the impact you have had on the young girls at the gym. Girls who look up to you and see how corageous, and determined you are. You are a wonderful role model and we know you will win this war and be back with us soon. WE BELIEVE.
JAX!!! I can’t believe it….7 months!! and you’re continuing to WIN!!! What a great past few days you have had, that’s great that you got out, saw a movie and shopped all with the WHOLE fam!! On Friday the whole gang went to Goodbar for the fundraiser and your BEAUTIFUL picture was up and we were all thinking of you all night!! We missed you and can’t wait until we can look at your hot face and not just the pic on the wall…lol…GUESS WHAT?!?!? I won a basket woooo hoooo!! Ill share the goodies with you when you come home!!! Ill be calling this week to share some gossip…hopefully you will feel up for a nice laugh!!! Hi Sweetheart. Wow! What strides you’ve made this week! I’m so glad you got to the movies, take walks and have sleepovers. It was so hard to leave you and your Mom last weekend but it was wonderful to see you. Even when I just looked down the hall to your room and I knew you two were that near to me I felt better. It won’t be long and you’ll be back home and I can’t wait to get one of your precious hugs. Keep up all the good work you’re doing–you are awesome! I’m so poud of you and love you so much and I BELIEVE! (That goes for your Mom, too.)
Hi Jacquie! Nothing says feeling better then a little shopping in N.Y.C.!! Hope your night boots help your legs. Then you can do even more shopping!!! So happy your feeling better!Clapping Praying BELIEVING Missy
Hi Jacquie i sent you a surprise in the mail. They said you will get it on monday or tuesday. i hope you like it we workd real hard for you. clapping a lot .Corey
I wanted to write this in case I dont get around to tomorrow because I have a very busy day. Tomorrow is your 7 month anniversary of beating cancer and I just thought I would tell you how proud of you I am, although you probably aready know that. I love you so much… so celebrate today, enjoy being a SURVIVOR :). Now if only this test on chemotherapy agents was as easy as it is for you to beat ALL… xoxoxoxoxo
Jacquie, Our church in Honeoye Falls is praying for you! You are in our prayers each week. From what Sadie tells me you are a strong young woman who is going to beat this. We believe!!!!Mrs. Mueller ( Sadie’s mom)
Hey Jax! So in a few weeks I am going down to Philly for my sisters graduation from grad school, and we will be taking down the boat load of “Jacquie for ALL” items that have been purchased for the Stiokas family et al., and taking a family picture to send to you of all of us decked out in our gear. Keep hanging in there, I suppose that the closer and closer you get to 100 the more like senioritis it feels like:) Hopefully we’ll be seeing your smiling face again real soon! Keep up the good work, and God bless, Casey I BELIEVE
I’m glad you’re out of the hospital and getting better again. This weekend is Alumni weekend in good ol’ Geneseo, but I’m being my typical self, lame cause i’m stuck at home with lots of homework. Next Alumni weekend though you’ll be all done with NYC and we can have a nice reunion over wings!
Jax, Woohoo!! I’m so happy that your feeling better and back at hope lodge, Thats so great!! It was also so nice to hear you all have been able to spend some time together! Happy Birthday T.J.!! I honestly can not wait for you to get home and for all of us to hang out! There are gunna be some really goodtimes ahead! Im so proud of you Jax, your so amazing! I miss you terrible and love you so so much! Nichole
What a happy update about you 4 going to the movies! And doing the three blocks is really encouraging. Even though you may have been tired, you should feel really good that you did it. I’m glad the family has this time together. Sara called Aunt Val with the update and she called me from Syracuse to make sure I saw the update. You make everyone feel good with every new thing you do. You inspire others with your determination and grit. Keep going. Stay strong, stay positive. We’re with you. “UB”
Hello Hirsch’s!!!! That was like the best update ever!!! I’m so happy to see that you all got to go to a movie together and SO impressed that Jax walked home. Walking in NYC is tricky!!! It’s hardly Geneseo where you don’t even have to look both ways. haha. I hope you enjoyed the movie! I think that actor is so funny. So this is so fun – I am at the Brockport Relay right now and of course we did a slide show here and I was looking through it ready to add a slide for you and then saw there already was one!! There are two girls here that go to your gym that sent in your picture! It was so great! So I knew I had to hunt them down and then Stephanie found me! I was introduced in the beginning ceremony and she came up to me later and said she recognized my name from your website and came and introduced herself!! That’s either a sign of it being a small world or what I think is that it’s a sign of what a huge number of people you’ve touched. Everyone who has heard about you is just awed and inspired!! This may not have been your number one choice of ways to reach a lot of people but you’ve certainly taken your situation and made the absolute best of it moving so many people everywhere. I know so many lives have been changed and improved by you including mine. Wow – longest post ever. Sorry!! But I just love you and am thinking about you always and know that you’re going to be back to 100% in not too long and you’ll continue reaching people far and wide because that’s who you are! Okay I’ll go for real now. Love you lots!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoloving and believing, Sadie
Jacquie(and mommy) I continue to pray for you both. I am so happy to hear that you are back “home” …and that you have baby hairs….won’t be long til you can have tinkerbell hair….Please keep up the great work…bless you both… Lynn (Brooks’ mommy)
HOLY TOOT, THE WHOLE HIRSCH CLAN WENT TO THE MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!! Before you know it, the Hirsch’s will once again be taking over Toby Keith concerts, decked out in your cowboy hats and all, making everyone jealous that their family can’t be as cool & good looking! haha. Anyway, I just wanted to express how happy I am for all of you, “normalcy” is slowly but SURELY making it back into your lives; and although for you four, life may never be exactly as it was before, I am pretty darn positive that despite all of the trials, tribulations, and changes, life will be BETTER! Who has better learned how to appreciate every minute of life (the good and the bad), and to appreciate the ones you love, more than you guys? So anyway love, I hope the four of you continue to enjoy and revel in your time together. I am sooooo happy you finally got to experience some beautiful weather! Here in Buffalo we tied the record for the most consecutive days above 70 in April (which was 8 days – if today is 70 or higher, we will top it). Sharon, I just want to let you know how remarkable I think you are. I mean obviously, Torey and TJ are out of this world as well, that goes without saying, but being the person that is there every single day seeing Jacquie in her ups and downs, and despite everything, faithfully keeping everyone updated on Jacquie day in and day out, you are one h*ll of a woman! I know that your birthday wasn’t an “ideal” one with Jacquie having a fever, but I have a pretty sneaking suspicion that going out to a movie as a family made up for that.I am sorry again for blabbing so much, I always start out thinking I am going to say two to three lines but then I just get on a roll or something. I guess its just a testament to how much I love you & miss you!!! Keep fighting love, stay strong, keep your chin and head up, and keep powering through!!! Tomorrow you are half way through the 60s!! And for heaven sakes woman, stop lying and saying you need a doctor to look at your calves because you can’t seem to stretch them out, we all know you just want to have a “legitimate” excuse to show them off to as many people as possible!! I LOVE YOU, and your whole family! You all are AMAZING people!!!WE BELIEVE<3 delisha <3
JAX! HI! CIAO BELLA! I am just sitting here jealous of all the little ones in my room who are taking a NAP in the middle of the afternoon – they don’t know how good they got it! well, i’m SO thrilled to hear your fevor is down and your back in the HOPE lodge – no better place to be for your right now! I hope that you enjoy the family time – i love hearing about how much you all apprecaite each others company and how just simply going to the movies means the world to you all. it really is the little things that make us smile! never, never, never give up! LOVE YOU! nicki
i love you my beautiful strong friend. reember how they used to call chris calves.. maybe yours are gonna become enormous like hisand thats why theyre botheing you, because you just walk around like the crazy exercising speed demon that you are. 3 blocks!!! i love you so much. today, in my prayer for you, i am going to include a thank you, for all those you have touched along the way. thanks jax 🙂
Hi Jacquie, Way To Go!!!!!!!! Walking 3 Blocks?! You Go Girl!!!!!!!I am so happy for you and your family that you were all able to have such a great day together! I heard that movie is very funny. Sharon, I hope you enjoyed a little and much deserved “down time” on your own last night. I know that must have been so hard for you to do, but you have to remember to take care of your self too! Jacquie we are all so proud of you! There is no person stronger or more determined than you. You will always be successful in anything you do. You come out of every “storm” with your head up and with more determination then the day before! Your students will be so lucky to have you. You are going to be the teacher that all the parents request for their kids, and the kids will always remember as their favorite teacher!!! Keep it up Jacquie your doing it! Clapping Praying BELIEVING Missy
Hi to you all!! What a great update for the 25th. So cool that you got out to see a movie and great job walking back to Hope Lodge. He misses you, too. Take care and say ’hello’ to your Mom for me. I love you both sooooo much. WE ALL BELIEVE

WE BELIEVE.
