Hi Jacquie and Sharon, Your updates ALWAYs make my eyes fill with tears- but they are good tears…hard to explain, but you are all such fighters, always have been and now more than ever and the love your family shares is unique and SPECIAL and although I hate that you are all going through this most difficult time in life, you are doing it with such courage and strength and it is amazing. Hi Jacquie and family, I know you do not know us. My two daughters just stated their gymnastics class last Fall. But we are all aware of your story and your courage. It is a great lesson for the girls. My thought also goes to your family. My sister was sick for a couple of years, and our family “huddled” together to be with her. We are watching your progress day by day. Keep up the good work.
Jax, Wohoo!!! I’m so glad to hear you’re 1/4 of the way! You are such a strong and resilent person. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to many and loved by all. We BELIEVE!!! Love you, Natalie

Hey Jax, Just thought I would stop in and tell you how proud of you I am. Friday I had a lecture on leukemia and it was so eerie to actually have it hit so close to home. It seems so surreal, everything, when I’m learning it you know? Neutrophils, bands, immunglobulins, marrow…its all words until you know someone who is fighting it…and beating it. I can’t imagine what you’re battling every day, but I know its not easy…but I have total 100% faith in your speedy recovery. On a lighter note, yesterday was ST. PATTYs day and I spent all of today recovering (hence why Im studying leukemia at 1030 pm during my spring break!!). I wore my REBOS shirt and I got an irish car bomb and it was a DUD! I went to drop the shot in my glass…and the shot glass didnt fit. Alas, I dumped it in…but what about that, a faulty bomb! Around 4 am I thought it might be a good idea to visit the hope lodge, so i text messaged google to try and find the address…when I realized it was a terrible idea. But even in all my green guiness glory I was thinking of you. Love you to piecessss…. hurry up and get better so we can have an irish car bomb redo… or just a hug. xoxoxoxoxo
You, my dear God daughter are an incredible, funny, loving, engaging woman!! Day 26 is done, we’re on the slope towards 30-yeah! Your Mom and I have known each other, for what did we say 40 years? And you have all the wonderful qualities of your Mom. Take each day at a time, continue on your strong, steady path. Looking forward to having some fun in NYC, with the 4 girls in not so long from now! Sleep well! Love to you and your Mom, xoxoxox, Aunt indie
Jax, Following your website every day, always looking for new updates. What a journey this has been. Thanks to T.J. for the website. You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. Grandma Stew prays for you evey day, too. Thank goodness for your momma to be at your side. It must be so hard for her, I can’t imagine going through this. Keep up the fight, it’s getting better every day. Soon you’ll be running down the streets of NYC. Love, Karen Stewart
Jax, Can’t believe you are already a fourth of the way through. Every time I read your update I am more amazed at how strong you are. You have an unbelievable strength that is so admirable. Still praying for you everyday! On another note, I know you would be so happy to know that my little brother is a MATCH! He will be donating April 15+16. The recipient is also a young girl in her early 20’s who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am so proud of him, he’s a little nervous but really excited to be able to help. Love and Miss you! Kleiny
Jacquie, I just read your update and had to stop what I was doing to tell you again what a remarkable person you are! Your strengh and courage are what everyone can only hope to have inside of them. You demonstrate every day who you are, A strong young woman who’s drive, is an example to everybody! What an outstanding teacher you are going to make! You teach and lead by example, a quality you cant learn in any college. Its what makes you , you! Cheers to moving forward! Your doing it Jacquie!!! Clapping ,praying, beliveing Missy
Hi Jacquie, 25 days- wow! 25 days behind you and another many new days ahead of you. I am wishing you and your mom some emotional rest and more new energy and lots of laughs and smiles. You are both doing such a remarkable job. Tough steps at times, but keep moving forward and before long 100 will be here and then 200 ….etc. Sending hugs from New Mexico and lots of strength. Love, Sara
Bonjour mon cherie! j’espere que vous etes bien. Ah I feel like such a dope, it totally slipped my mind that yesterday was day 25… ah I am so disappointed in myself. Oh well, I can still say HAPPY DAY 26 !! You are now MORE than 1/4 of the way through this journey!!! I am sorry that this St. Patty’s Day was obviously way less exciting than years past, but it no doubt was more important, and marked a very special milestone. I love all of the posts that you write, I can literally hear your voice in my head saying “okay, funny story… ” haha and it makes me laugh; and I also love Sharon’s posts because of her honesty and faith.I have found myself often thinking exactly what your mom expressed, how badly I wish I could take this from you, but somehow, for some reason we might not know just yet, this is how it was meant to be. Maybe God gave you this struggle because He knew that you and your family would have the strength to fight it, and through your strength in fighting, you would be able to empower the hundreds of those that watch you in this struggle daily. In my daily life, even something as little as pushing myself that tiny bit further in a spinning class, or by realizing that I can get through those really hard days when I really miss my dad; I think of you (and your family) and your fight, and all you have endured, and how AMAZINGLY WELL you have endured, and I look at your strength, and it gives me strength. You, and your family, are always thanking all of us for our messages and prayers and for believing… but in all honesty, it is US who should be thanking YOU and your family! You give so many people inspiration, and strength, and faith, and hope… and you make us realize just how important and special every day is, and that the little things really are just that, little, inconsequential happeningsSo keep up the fight, keep your head up, and keep on aggressively taking on each challenge that faces you. WE ALL BELIEVE there is NOTHING that you can’t conquer. So thank you for teaching us all how to appreciate life & to not take everything so seriously. I love you so much, in my heart and on my mind ALWAYS.<3 delisha <3 p.s. sorry for the novel but I miss you soooo much!!!
WOW, you’re out. I only get to a computer every couple of weeks, and every time I check your website, another milestone has been made. You and your Mom are just incredible. You two are the real “incredibles”! Keep up the good work and stay strong. The love of God is working in you. Love Donna & Merv
What a beautiful post from yesterday. It really moved me – your family is just amazing and deserves nothing but the best. Jax I love you and am thinking of you everyday. Day 26 today!!! You’re doing so well and before you know it, it will be day 96!!! Keep up that faith like you always do and know so many people are sending you good thoughts constantly. My mom put you on the prayer list at church and so many people have asked about you. You’re moving people you don’t even know!!I LOVE YOU BEAUTIFUL!!!WE BELIEVE<3 Sades
1/4 of the way there Jacquie!!! Keep up that positive attitude and pretty soon the 100 days will be over! Then you can return to WNY when its finally not snowing and cold anymore 😉 We Believe!
I had a tough day at work yesterday and then got here this morning and looked at your site and said it aint that though…the sun continues to rise, your counts will continue to rise, our hopes continue to rise, and whatever is growing on the meatloaf continues to rise…peace
What a beautiful girl you are, both inside and out. God has big plans for you. You will take this experience and be able to teach others how important it is to live life to the fullest, make someone happy each day, say at least one kind thing to a stranger, go to sleep at night knowing you performed a small act of kindness that day. Your life seems full of love from family and friends. How blessed you are for them and they are for you. Stay strong. Your smile makes a difference every day, so keep giving that. With respect and prayers, Laura
Jacquieeee!!!! Glad to hear you are doing well!! I hope NYC is treating you the way it should be…Panama City misses you right now!!! Loveee youuu! -Sachsy
Hi, You don’t know me, but I pledged SDT long ago and received information about your brave battle through them. I have been following your story for a while and think you are a remarkable woman. Your courage and sense of humor are fantastic and I wish you all the best. Your future students will be lucky to have you in their lives! Love,Kara
Jacquie, I love how you celebrate every accomplishment with food as I do, I knew we had something in common!!! Im glad to see that you are making such amazing progress and Im impressed with the walk around the block! Keep up the good work, miss you! love, Cindy 🙂 P.S. i hope the neighbors turned down the tv!!!
Tink, it was so good to hear the great news and the walks that you are doing. We are all so proud. When i read your meeasge about your mother i was laughing so hard cause i can see her doing this. and then you end up taking the matter into your own hands. my mother would do similar things to me but there had been some real bad ones and i think back and i laugh my butt off now but was so embaressed back then. anyways its so good to hear that your getting some foods and snacks that you like. Ihope your mother is enjoying those snacks with you. Jax keep up the great work. tell your mother Jaime new date to have this baby is april 2 instead of the 6th. she is doing just fine and still woeking yes all her jobs, well i gotta get going so hhi to everyone and happy st. paddy’s day to all. love sandy .takoda
Jacquie, Very glad to hear that you are moving about and seeing all those NY sites. Bet you are looking forward to extending the “city block” a bit. Make sure you con your Mom and Dad into a ride through Central Park on the horse drawn carriage. You so deserve it. We hope to hop up for a weekend soon and check on your progress. Keep looking forward to that “next day”. Gene and Margie
Hi Jacquie and hi to Sharon too!!! So the big question is, did they turn down the T.V. or is it still really loud?? When I was in college the people above us were always dragging furniture across the floor so my roommate took a chair to the ceiling and dragged it across the ceiling. Not sure it helped but we laughed a lot. Connor’s team took 2nd place at States (Level 4). He just found out he will be a gosling in the Charlottes Web play and he is pysched because he only has to learn “2 lines “for the scene his class is doing. What a student. And they are very simple lines at that, beebee and Hurray! Thinking of you and sending you more strength and courage and hoping the good moments are more numerous!! Love, Sara
Hey Jacquie I LOVE YOU! I hope you are having another good day today, it was great talking to you yesterday! Keep eating up and stay strong. You are doing great and I know you will continue to amaze us all! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🙂 ~Amanda
I loved reading the update from you so much Jax! You sure have your sense of humor back! (I’m not sure it really every left, just got masked some days) Congrats on your walk around the block. When you are able to go further I’m sure you’ll have shopping bags in your hands too! 🙂 Keep staying strong Jax, your updates just amaze me more and more everyday. Your strength is awesome! Miss you!Love you,Erdle

Jacquie, Its great to hear that your count is up and you are doing so well! The hundred days is going by and soon you will be able to walk the streets of Clarence maybe you will let me walk with you. Keep doing what your doing. Love Uncle Mark
Sunny this am…like always…so you must be fine… Dad was here this weekend for a visit…filled his days with golf, spring training, taking the trucks out to the desert and 4 wheeling around…he didnt know what to think about that…we crossed a flooded river…(isn’t a river supposed to be flooded?)…not in AZ…anyway he held on tight to the “OH S…” handles in the truck…we were fine, just had to bottom out and back up and run over some trees thats all…he just shakes his head… hope you enjoyed the dinner i sent over and saved the leftovers…the meatloaf is always better the next day…it is like a fine wine, better with age… keep it up kid and i will keep watching the sun rise… xoxo mps
Hi Jacquie, My Mom shared with me your story and I felt like sharing some of my favorite quotes from Walt Disney. He was all about believing and dreaming big! So enjoy the quotes and the package I sent to you from the Magic Kingdom. I’m praying for your complete healing and that you will be back soon making dreams come true in all you do!!! “All of your dreams can come true, if you have the courage to pursue them.” Walt Disney “You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world, but it requires peopleto make the dream a reality.” Walt Disney “Laughter is America’s most important export.” Walt Disney “When you believe in athing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably.” Walt DisneyGod Bless you, Chris Malayny (Betsy’s Son)
Hey there friend!!! I think you should have let Sharon pound on the wall…I would pay money to see that lol!! I was cracking up when I read ur post…I can’t believe you didn’t lose it when he asked you to take your mask off…listen buddy if your TV wasn’t so loud you’d probably hear me just fine!! I think after this is all done you and the Sharbear should make a movie on all the “incounters” you’ve had with people since September…and you should start with the lady at mighty…”you got a port too”?? haha Jax I love you tons!!!! (and Sharon too of course)!! Love you and miss you lots!! Ashley (and the whole rest of the fam).
I’m so excited for you!!! the blocks are so huge thats suck a big feat! You are so amazing in so many ways and I know i keep saying this but I really wish I were more like you. Hi,Sweetheart. I loved your update. Lucky you and your Mom to have hard of hearing neighbors but I’m glad you used your head to deal with them. I hope today was a good one and tomorrow is even better. I think of you and your Mom all the time and I’m so proud of you both. Keep up the walking, eating and getting stronger. You are such a special granddaughter and I love you so much.
Dear Jacquie and Sharon, Both of you continue to inspire me everyday to focus on what is important in life. I read your daily journals and continue to pray for you both and to see that you are truely remarkable women. Stay strong. Love, Larry
JACQUIE!!!!!!!! Yay, I knew after reading your update from March 14th that you would be feeling better and making strides asap, and I was right!!! Great job walking around your block, wooooo!!! That’s what moms are for right? Pushing and encouraging you to do something when you don’t feel like it, or don’t think you can. So great job Sharon pushing Jac to do that!!!I love you so much and I am so proud of you. Each day, even if it seems that you are having a “bad” day, you have to realize that you are still taking steps in the right direction, because even if its a bad day, it still is a link that can be taken off of your chain. So keep up the great work, I (as well as hundreds upon hundreds) have 100% faith in you.I LOVE YOU FOREVER & EVER!!!<3 delisha <3WE BELIEVE
Hi Jacquie Glad you had such a great day today! And I share your love of food! One of the Best Pleasures in life! You will be in my prayers tonight. (And tell your mom to go easy on the people next door..they were obviously hard of hearing!)
Good afternoon Jacquie! I am glad you had a good day yesterday and I too would have had the same fears if my mom was threatening to go tell the neighbors to be quiet. You are funny and I enjoyed your update. It is so windy here that it is a brown out of dirt rather than white out of snow. My children have informed me this is “what happens in a desert and is normal” not weird. Well I am hoping you felt well today and that you and your mom had some smiles and laughs. Good night to you both. Love, Sara
My Jacquie… Hey Sweetie, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Green to you & your mom! I miss you guys. I heard your cousins took TJ for the day. Down to the parade & then out for some partying – he will never be the same. Neither will downtown Buffalo after they get done. I glad to hear you make it around the block, that is a great accomplishment. Although it must be very frustrating not to be site seeing & shopping in NYC, it’s the trip of a lifetime to get around that block the first time. I’m very proud of you. Each time you get around that block is getting you closer to home. I miss you & love you a lot. Say Hi to your mom, I love you both! Aunt Deee
haha just read your update, embrace the akward meals with your deaf neighbor, sometimes akwardness can be the best entertainment, becuase its just so..akward? anyways that makes sense to me. hope your feeling like your beautiful sunny self today. just wanted to say that im thinking about you and smiling! i know this sounds like i have a crush on you..which i might, but whenever i think about your laugh, i smile..its great and extremely raw in a good way. miss you girly!! eat a cupcake! okbye
Jacquie, I just read through all of the updates on you and I felt like I was in the inspirational reading section of Barnes’nNobles. You truly are an inspiration and I am so proud of your amazing progress so far (not that I had any doubts). More than just your ability to fight physically, your strength and positive attitude are qualities that I strive to have as a person. Keep it up! By the way, I literally laughed out loud at your last post. I’m glad to see your sense of humor is stronger than ever! Hot dog! I wore my IB Bar Staff shirt yesterday and I had a thought: what do you think about getting IB Girlfriends shirts? 🙂 I can’t wait to see you asap!! With Love ALWAYS,Pauline
Hey Jax- I love to read your posts ’cause you write just how you talk! It’s so good to hear you’re doing well. Congratulations on those counts! Keep up the good work!*we believe*
Sharon and Jacquie, Hi, Thank you again for making me smile! I can picture Sharon wanting to pound on the wall !! Jacquie, I am glad to hear you are still good about walking …. I remember you were faithful to it at Roswell. I sure miss you two! I just want to state for the record that I think the Hirsch men have really stepped up to the plate and I think they are awesome! What a great family. God Bless. Hugs to you all.

Kleiny

Love, Sara

Aunt Deee
