Uh-oh…. day 21, you know what that means! Little Jacquie ventures out into the Big City!!!!! Haha but in all seriousness, that really has to be the best birthday present in the world for your Uncle. You have to let me know what you thought of the city after your first “sidewalk stint” today. I really hope the weather is better down there than it is up here. Keep up the great work, you are amazing!!!! I am looking forward to another update tonight! I love you lady, so much. <3 delisha<3 WE BELIEVEp.s. Hi Jacquie, I want to tell you that I just prayed for your everyday comfort and pain-free bone marrow tests and I know 100% that it’s going to happen. Here are a few things that I found helped when I was sick 1 year ago, possibly it will help you.Just get through each uncomfortable time one second at a time, laying on side helps nassea and talking or day dreaming about a great time will take your mind to a different place.Be thankfull for the good times and do all you can even if its something as simple as a walk,or running in a marathon.JK.Also spend time thinking of things to look forward to when you get home, like mighty taco and sweet sweet mustangs, lol. Most importantly dont forget how strong and brave you are because its soo true.Keep fighting,I love you and Im proud of you!we believe!
Wow, my beautiful big, congrats on almost taking your first steps!! 😉 be careful you don’t get mugged on your really long walk, you know how dangerous those New York City streets can be… NOT. andd i just wanted to let you know that i just formed our second relay for life team titled Sigma Delta Tau Two so you should check out the hot pic of you (it’s just my favorite one of you, holly, and me). i had the one of you being “Tink” in your tink costume up first, but i didnt want people to think we were relaying for a weirdo (even though we pretty much are). missin you somethin fierce over here, jacko. the pledgies painted the greek tree tonight and are actually attempting to SLEEP OUTSIDE!! who knew that would ever be brought back. i legitimately think that at least two of them are setting up sleeping bags OVER the food (i just reread this and at first i typed food and i’m not erasing it because my mind is clearly somewhere else.. but i mean FOOT) of snow on the ground haha. The new alpha kappas are pretty much champions and i can definitely see them dominating F.F.F.N. after we’re all outta there. hope lodge looks like a sweet place.. was that a piano i saw? maybe you can add that to your list of new pasttimes — along side chess. love you jacko, -me 😉
Hey Jax! It’s so good to hear that you are out of the hospital and kicking total butt!! Have fun on your walk tomorrow! I believe in you 🙂 <3 Amanda Vaughn (Stewart)
Hey Jax! Your new place looks beautiful, I hope you are liking it and feeling comfortable! It’s so nice to get another awesome update-everyone is sooo proud of you. I miss you tons-keep staying positive! We BELIEVE <3 ~amanda
Hey Jax, Just wanted to tell you good luck on your first “outing” tomorrow! If you are anything like my dad after his heart surgery, you are probably really ready to get out and walk even just a little bit…don’t worry, you’ll be walking 10 miles daily in no time:) I cannot wait to give the update to church on Sunday about how wonderful you are doing! Stay strong. God Bless, Casey I Believe
hey jacquie!!! Your new place looks beautiful!!! You’re doing great and I’m so proud of you!!! Oh, and my mom got me this little day calendar with quotes on it, and today’s quote said “when we meet tragedy in life, we can react it two ways–either by losing hope and falling off the edge or by using the challenge to find our inner strength”…I think we all know which way you chose!!! Keep being strong and moving your butt! Love you! Col
Hey Jacquie- Just sitting here at Spezio’s waiting for Meg to come out…it’s so nice of them to let me steal their wireless internet to check on your progress!! The new digs look great compared to the hospital room- you must be thrilled to be out! I think I might spend all day in front of that fireplace if I were there. Especially if it’s as cold in NY as it is here!It is so wonderful to read how well you’re doing. It’s a good thing you had such a strong body and will to begin with. Stay strong. Keep your sense of humor (clearly still there from your post)- nothing cures faster than laughter! We keep on praying. We’ll always Believe <3
HI Jax and Aunt Sharon, Hope Lodge looks really nice. I hope you guys are doing well there. I’m glad to hear that you’re meeting people and trying to keep busy. I love you both so much. We ’re finally making plans to come visit and hopefully we’ll know for sure in a few days! I’ll see you both really soon. Take care =)
Jacquie, I just wanted to say WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! Hope Lodge looks BEAUTIFUL!!! I really hope it is helping ease you into city life. I am so happy, but not in the least bit surprised, that you have already made many friends and acquaintances there. As Sammo said, I am sure you are the hottest on one your floor, hands down. Anyway, I hope that your meeting at Sloan-Kettering went well today, I am thinking of you always!!”In my heart and on my mind, you have the remarkable ability of being in two places at once.” Keep your head up and your eye on the prize, you are charging through each obstacle and demolishing them one by one. Before you know it we will have that SDT reunion in NYC and it will be magic and chaos tied into one. I LOVE YOU<3 delisha <3WE BELIEVE P.S. So many of my law school friends ask about you every day, and now they even check your website daily and send me messages about how excited they are with your progress! You have a whole fan club at UB Law and all across the country.
My Jacquie… Hey Sweetie – I finally found out the story behind PEDRO!!! You kids kill me! I’ve been kept in the dark about him for over 10 years! You guys are good! We should all start saving now for another big family adventure so we can all have fun like that again. Pedro… who would have “thunk” it! Do you remember the day just before you left for NY when I stopped by the house? I spoke to you about something I’m working on & wanted to update you that tomorrow it begins (hopefully). I’ll let you know aftwards how it went. How’s your mom? Please give her my love. You’re very lucky to have her. So many people don’t have someone who would be there to support your like she has been. And so many people wouldn’t want to be with their mom constantly for days on end. But you two are very special and I’m very happy for you. Well, I’m counting down the days, as I’m sure everyone else is. You’ve just about completed 20%! 1/5th! Fantastic. Just keep going sweetie and let us know if there is anything we can do for you. I Believe in you so much! Give your mom a hug & kiss from me. All my love…Aunt Deee
Hey Jax, Just dropping in to say I loe you and am so proud of you. I cannot wait to hug you. I’m always thinking of you… including right now while I wear my Jacquie for ALL shirt :)…. xoxoxo times a million
well my goodness was it good to hear from you in an update!! and as for pedro if he is wearing a big sombreo that could only mean the coast is clear and you are feeling much better, lol. i cannot wait to hear more from u again…u truly are the strongest person i know. i love you and will write more soon. love u, cousin angela

Hope Lodge looks really nice and I’m so happy that your Mom has a real bed to sleep in now. I’m also impressed that you were playing chess with your Dad! What a woman! I hope tomorrow goes well. I’ll be thinking about you (as I always am). I love you so much and I’m so proud of you (as I always have been. Stay strong and keep doing all the good things you’re doing. Give my love to your Mom. Uh-oh…. day 21, you know what that means! I love how Samm wrote "NOT" in her message to you, it was so cool... psyche!! (get it? agh, another lame attempt at a corny joke haha).
