Jax, welcome to N.Y.C. they are all crazy. Ican’t wait till you can see things and go places. its alot of fun and yes you can get into trouble. i managed with my friends and it was worth every penny. It was so good to read your update . You are a big inspiration to everyone. including myself. with all the pain that iam in with my legs and tests that iam going through i put myself in your spot and say this does not hurt compared to Jax. Hi Jax!! I already bombarded your facebook wall but wanted to write here too. I am so happy that you’re doing well – I am so proud and just filled with joy. You were my inspiration to get up that mountain. I carried a sign with your picture the whole way up that says “we believe!” I think you helped everyone on the trip – 38 of 40 of us made it to the top and a lot of them told me that you were their inspiration. They are all thinking about you and praying for you! Love you lots! Hello beautiful!!! How are you enjoying Hope Lodge? I bet it feels AMAZING to be out of that room in Sloan and to be able to enjoy the (often overlooked) luxury of having mobility beyond your bedroom. I can’t believe you have been in NYC for 26 days already, that is insane how the time has gone by… before you know it you will be back in Buffalo. By the way, do NOT feel sad about being in NYC right now, because as I’m sure TJ has told you, you missed one DOOZY of a winter storm this weekend. Let me tell you, complete with the 2 feet (at least) of snow, FREEZING rain, many people off of the roads, and far below freezing temperatures, Buffalo was definitely hit hard. So you’re not missing out on too much by being down there right now. Anyway I just wanted to say I love you so much, and I totally agree with what Justine wrote. You are such an amazingrole-model, I don’t know why I never thought to say it before. I guess maybe it was just so obvious I never even thought to say it. But you are such a role model to so many, by showing how to: live life to the fullest, be happy for the moment, don’t EVER give up, keep on fighting, remain positive when things seem anything but, etc. etc. I just started drinking some tea called Yogi Tea and every bag has its own unique saying and the one I had a few days ago read “Be happy for this moment for this moment is your life” and it totally made me think of you. Hi Jacquie! We are so happy to hear how fast you are moving forward! You can do it ! You ARE doing it!!!!!! Corey and I start off each day clapping for you , 18 claps today! He asked his teacher today if they would all clap with him for you , one clap for each day of your new life! She asked Corey to tell the class your story and why he claps for you each day. Corey told them all how brave you are and to belive!! They all clapped their little hearts out and said prayers for you too. They will be doing this until day 100. Jax, Im soo soo happy to hear that you got to get out of the hospital. i am so proud of you & am amazed by your strength. on a different note, ive heard that caroline was a little upset about that moving out of 14 court picture… well id have to agree. this happens to be the very last day of a 2 month bender of gfr everyday and drinking too much. it does a good job of making your look even more beautious next to us hooligans yet it kinda ruins my reputation. hahahah of course im jk i love you soo very much and miss you even more! cant wait til your back home & i can visit.

Hi Jacquie, It’s great to hear they cut you loose! We’ve been following your progress every day and you continue to amaze us all. Keep it up and you’ll be out of “The City” before it starts to thaw out! During my own “visit” to the hospital, a friend told me that I would get through it like a “bulldozer through a wheat field”. Hey Pedro!! Get your sombrero ready!!! We’re going to have one crazy vacation!!! I’m so glad that you are finally get started on some shopping! I would defiantly work on that no McDonald’s food and the Ronald McDonald house thing. What are people thinking!! I mean it’s very misleading! I hope Hope Lodge is working out for you guys and that you are settling in ok. Hope your finally being able to enjoy some good food. Hello beautiful!!! How are you enjoying Hope Lodge? I bet it feels AMAZING to be out of that room in Sloan and to be able to enjoy the (often overlooked) luxury of having mobility beyond your bedroom. I can’t believe you have been in NYC for 26 days already, that is insane how the time has gone by… before you know it you will be back in Buffalo. By the way, do NOT feel sad about being in NYC right now, because as I’m sure TJ has told you, you missed one DOOZY of a winter storm this weekend. Let me tell you, complete with the 2 feet (at least) of snow, FREEZING rain, many people off of the roads, and far below freezing temperatures, Buffalo was definitely hit hard. So you’re not missing out on too much by being down there right now. Anyway I just wanted to say I love you so much, and I totally agree with what Justine wrote. You are such an amazingrole-model, I don’t know why I never thought to say it before. I guess maybe it was just so obvious I never even thought to say it. But you are such a role model to so many, by showing how to: live life to the fullest, be happy for the moment, don’t EVER give up, keep on fighting, remain positive when things seem anything but, etc. etc. I just started drinking some tea called Yogi Tea and every bag has its own unique saying and the one I had a few days ago read “Be happy for this moment for this moment is your life” and it totally made me think of you.
